Do we feel scared over perception or reality? I feel scared right now maybe over the peception that I'm getting ready to lose what I have wanted for such a long time and that is a man who truly loves me for me! For the longest time I've dealt with the reality that nearly everyone in my life would somehow abandon me and the only way that they would not is for them to make a huge commitment not to! I'm asking the same thing from him, He is being honest with me he doesn't know how this will play out and I want him to be a "fortune teller" so to speak! Why do i feel the perception of losing you when I know you just need time to breathe from me! I can't understand my own stupidity sometimes! I hope that you will not be another man who walks away because I'm still learning what it's like to have someone love me and not run away! I know I've hurt you and sometimes I feel i can't stop myself I just don't want to get hurt again! Ir can really be lonely without anyone helping you in your life. Just lately i've had that! Maybe that is why i want to keep the kids because I never want them to feel abandoned. I love you, Wayne!

I enjoyed this guest designer gig this month at Scrapbooking from the Inside Out! The word was Clarity!! I did "clarify" some things in my life that gave me some inspiration! I tried more to tell a story with the photos and books rather than writing the story with it! It clarified for me that I could truly scrap out of my comfort zone! So here are my layouts and altered clear Mini albums made with Hambly screen prints clear acrylic sheet! Here is a link to the April Kit!

It was a scary moment the day I realized Noah had Autism! Still today it scares me to know that I have a child who needs my attention! My child realizes what is going on with him! I really hope that a change will come soon because Autism Speaks very loud if we are willing to listen to their language! The Climb

I haven't spoke out much about the divorce proceedings since i received the papers. Mainly because i have been too busy to write about it! I wish i could say that i wasn't scared! I wish i could move the mountain. I wish i knew what was waiting on the other side. I don't have a clue! I've spoken to my attorney getting things underway to start this process. Lets just say I've had to lean on my friends more lately but I guess that is why they are friends. I can do all that i can do to help myself and that is it! I have to leave it in Gods hands now! He always takes the burdens if you let him! I thank God everyday that he is the God of the impossible. My children are scared! I've tried my best to see them through this time. Everyone tells you to keep your children out of the drama. You try to, there are honest questions though that need to be answered. I've heard things like I will run away if the judge makes me go live with daddy; I don't know how I could live without sleeping and living with you mommy. It breaks my heart! I'm all they have ever known but you can't tell a judge that! Will they believe you? It's my word against his now! My daughter tonight was sitting at the computer after a rough Math homework night and told me to listen to this song, it is called "the Climb" it is from the Hannah Montana movie! I'll add the lyrics at the bottom. She said something to me tonight that made me happy to be her mother. All I need is determination to get through this mountain mom! I asked her the mountain being math and she said yeah that too! So i asked her what the mountain was..... and she said i don't know what is waiting for me down the road but i promise to appreciate you more. Crying is what I'm doing now. I told her Alli it's not your fault all of this is going on! She said I know! I wish that staying here with you would be on the other side of the mountain. I told her not to worry that was my job...her job was just to be a kid!

Me: What is the Matter Noah?
Noah: The principal wants me to sit down,
stop cussing, and keep my hands to myself.
Me: Well those are not good things Noah
Noah: I know it, but I can't take it! I don't
want to hear people it hurts my head.
Me:Why?
Noah: I don't know I want to be a car rider.
Me: How about we change to the special bus?
they wont talk much on that bus.
Noah: I hate the big bus people make fun of me!

Change is going to come! It has to for him! Why add this to my blog?
There are parents and children out there who need to read this and explain to their children that one little negative, nasty "he is weird" comment can change a child's impression of themselves and how they view the world! My son can't help that he has Autism but it is our responsibility as citizens of this wonderful world to never make him feel alone and that his mommy is his only friend!

My Dad has saw the light.......

In the scrapbooking industry! I love the fact that my dad is also a writer and he gives me a great deal of inspiration just in the simple things! He appreciates my writing! My dad sorta laughs at me because I try my hardest to be absolutely grammatically correct but it was never one of my strong suits in school; just the literature part of English mostly enthralled me! My dad said that if I ever wrote a book that I would have to give the editor a larger piece of the "pie" because of all the work he would have to do to get it ready for sale! I guess you could say that my dad has always been supportive on the writing end and partially on the scrapbooking end- I don't think he got it, really! He is an amateur photographer like myself and he appreciate my need for and SLR camera,lol, he says the best out there is the Cannon XTI, He says you get what you pay for....I need to get paid more ...lol. Now back to the reason I'm writing this blog entry a couple days b-4 Christmas he asked me what I needed- like I really needed scrap supplies- but I told him any scrapbook supply from Hobby Lobby. Apparently, he checked out the die cutting machines and told me that I needed one because they were cool. He said i got you the GC but you should see what these die cutting machines can do....I was ROTFLMAO.....i was thinking finally a man who gets it! Here is a published layout that I did of my father for "Fathers Day"! I also told him the AWESOME news that I made the Gauche Alchemy guest designer for this upcoming July 09' They so ROCK!!!!!!!!!

I feel an empty void today! Not just because I miss my kids or because Charlie went to visit his dad for a couple of days, but the holidays are over! All the festivities are fun and we always enjoy them but I realized this year about how much I miss the people that have left this world! Mainly, Jason, Al and Conley- My granddaddy! I see how big the family has grown since Granddaddy left almost 19 years ago and I miss the man that he was! Anyway, getting sad doesn't help anyone! I think I felt a little crazy the last couple of days! My son has been having some behavioral problems. Can you believe that he got kicked out of children s church? Apparently, he got a little violent with the teacher and threatened children because the talking was bothering him. The pastor said he was praying for someone at the church that could help him. My question why does Autism hurt him, his family and pathetically asking, my personal life? So When I saw this on Veronica's site I just had to try it 5 Minutes for mom. So does he have a chance to win the sleeping baby contest? Let me know!

Besides that I've been busy getting final things accomplished before kids start back to school on the 25th! They just got back from their daddy's on Monday@! Tomorrow is open house to meet their new teachers! Wow is it school time already! Oh well so I'm not scrapping as much as I was this summer! While I'm waiting for Fancy Pants to decide who they are putting on their team, I've been organizing my house...nothing like cleaning to get the anxiety out! This is not a Fancy Pants Layout but I love it just the same. These papers that I used just spoke to me! When I'm finished with the some of the layouts of Mollie and Mac I'll put those up as well! BTW I won a Mushroom mini album at Serendipity Scrapbooks last night while they has a chat going on with Ali Edwards. I'm pretty excited about her new book coming out! It is all about Mini Albums! I got to know her a little better and on her style and I found out that she tells a story too when she scrapbooks, like me! I'm feel like I connect with her allot because of Simon, who has Autism like my son, Noah!

Tuesday the ll day layout challenge started basically this challenge is to do one layout in 11 days! So you have a challenge a day!
Challenge #1 Pick out your pictures( Mine are about 6 wallet photos of Noah-My son- OT appointment on July 31st) Now with this challenge depending on how many photos you chose you must use 2 of every 6 you pick out!
Challenge #2 Pick out your Patterned Paper- You need to pick out 3 patterned papers from those pictures and they all must be used on the layout! Now mine are double sided so I could use the back if I would like!

Now everyone is caught up! I would love to see y'all at the attic to go along with the challenge. I'm a pretty fast scrapper so this is pure craziness for me! This is definitely a challenge for me! Who would have thought it would take 11 days for a layout but it's fun!

I did It!!! My Fancy Pants Submission

I decided to submit to Fancy Pants! I was lacking on the mojo yesterday and I needed to finish a layout! I started around 5p.m. on the last layout! I kept asking myself could I get used to the let down?! Well Something in my gut( maybe intuition) told me to apply.I did finally apply and got the email to go through this morning! So here are all of my submissions! With a mini album that I decided not to send...but I believe It wasn't what I wanted to put out there! I was typically only going to speak about scrapbooking stuff on this blog...I'm a writer though and sometimes the best medicine for me is to write about things that matter. My ex whom I wont name has trouble with controlling other people to his own benefit! I have trouble with letting him do it! Everything that I have ever done wrong consumes me to the point of worry! I've officially contacted a lawyer today! Why? It seems as though I'm getting tired of being a puppet for someone where they are holding the strings. When God chose marriage it was not suppose to be threatening or controlling. He may never agree what he was doing in our marriage was emotionally abusive but that is not for him to decide for me. The law sees it differently.Just like he is trying to control the mediation process. What I'm about to say to him is this I am a good mother, Yes the house was messy, but guess what You didn't bother to help me you just complained...I was never taught....You could have helped me to learn. I was depressed but not by any disorder....maybe post par dome depression that I tried to hide from you, I tried to make our marriage work...you just would not go to counseling. Our Marriage was all about you...and To some degree it still is about you. Except we have 2 completely beautiful children who needed their dad to also make it work! His daughter needed to see him fight for me and love me...instead she only sees the negative about men and is trying to please every person that is around her including her dad- out of fear that he wont love her. My son needed to see that anger wasn't the way to go, he needed to see the proper way to treat his wife....instead he still sees me as his personal servant because that was all I was to him! They both needed to see this marriage work because that was their lifeline. We both screwed that up! Was being right worth a broken family? That is the question I pose to him! I just want this part of my life to be over....I want someone who can love me and I can heal from all this negativity! Long story short .....Give me the Divorce, already! At least do that for your girlfriend!

Ok so I tried out for the clear albums DT! I had never worked with the clear albums before, but I actually enjoy acrylic albums allot! Hey Jodi and Marcie thanks for the encouragement....This is Rusty Pickles clear album that was given to me by Jodi Ethington(God I love that woman! I wish I could get my hands on a Midnight oil one to play with...hey MARCIE!! Lol I really have learned allot about myself and what I could accomplish! Yesterday when the American Crafts DT was announced...why not me? All the ladies are very talented! Allot of them you see there names everywhere! They are fabulous scrapbookers! I feel like my work is good! I have always wondered why I try for things knowing full well that I won't get it...because I'm not published in major magazines...why? I submit....but I don't have a name....so there you go again....it's like a never ending cycle! I didn't do this just to get published or to be on a 1,000 different design teams! I started scrapbooking to write! There seems to be not one place that loves my scrapbooking work..... I Make cards..but I feel as though I'm a scrapbook artist.....That is what I love! I have been wondering over the last couple of days what are truly my passions out of scrapbooking....They are writing and singing! To go further back....Even though i have a great voice....My sister was the singer in the family...so there was no room for me to do it.....I don't even think it was a competition between me and my sister....I think my family wanted me as something different. In private I sang, I wrote and I make every scrapbook page a piece of art for me. I don't feel like that this avenue is something that i can accomplish! I feel like everything lately I put on paper or try to accomplish doesn't seem to work out! I'm not giving up I'm just rethinking everything that I'm doing!I'm wondering what happened to that woman who everybody wanted and wanted to be with. I'm not sure I'll ever get that back....I'm in a depressed mood today...not because of the scrapbooking but when I feel this way I don't have someone to hold me when I get like this....I have friends but Most have their lives and listen when they can but I just need a hug some days! I'm just rambling and I shouldn't do this! So here is some work that I'll probably send to Fancy Pants! The layout I did for So tell me your story blog! I'm proud of this work! What do you think!

I got a kick out of this....everyone needs to make this on those relatively bad days!
Here is the link The damn it doll So here are the instructions:
These make great little Damn It Dolls for stressful people!

They can be thrown, jabbed, stomped and even strangled till all the frustration leaves you.

Attach the little poem to go with it:

When you want to kick the desk or
throw the phone and shout.
Here's a little damnit doll
you cannot do without.
Just grasp it firmly by the legs,
and find a place to slam it.
And as you whack it's stuffing out,
yell, "damnit, damnit, damnit!"

Instructions

You need to create a basic doll shape and cut it out of fabric, you can use any color fabric you want, but if you intend on adding facial features you will need to keep the fabric light.

Cut out 2 body shapes and sew around the edges.

Turn the doll the right side out and using a pen push out any edges in the hands and legs till it is all turned the right side out.Then using your toy filling stuff the doll from the leg's up remembering to keep it firm enough so you can write against it. Keep filling the doll till you reach the head, then using some glue or a few hand stitches close up the head.

Use your waterproof felt pens to draw on some facial features and glue on the hair along the head seam. You can add as much or as little detail as you want to your doll.

Basic Printable Pattern, you will need to re-size this pattern to suit your needs.

I can't tell you how excited I was to finally start working with Memories from the Attic Card Kits. I've typically been a scrap designer, so, being a card designer was a little out of the box for me! I was excited to finally get the kit and let me say it is a fabulous kit with Cosmo Cricket- Sunshine! I loved the little penguin stamps! There is enough paper and cardstock to make at least 8 cards! This morning I woke up to the most thoughtful thing a mother could wake up too! The First Annual Mother Appreciation Day! I was given my usual breakfast, but this time- In bed! Well they couldn't use the coffee pot but they did make me tea.....but I believe that makes me happy! Here are some pics of the event..... I'll think I will scrapbook them later to just make me feel even more happy!Oh and by the way I made my own cup of Joe because this wakes me up....there was allot of kisses and hugs this morning from 2 beautiful, smart and inventive children. That right there just in itself makes me happy to be their, Mommie!

I now have a clean house!!!

For the last 4 days all i have really done is clean the house! I've checked a few email...several were exciting but I'll talk about that tomorrow......*sniker* but all in all i feel as though now the house is clean I can scrapbook the rest of the week while the kids are gone to their daddy's house!! Yahooo! I'll have more to say tomorrow! BTW I did do a crop this weekend and here is are a couple of pages that i did and a card just for fun!

Of sorts. In about 15 minutes I'm off to run children to meet their daddy. I will have until July 6th without them...sad about not hanging out with them on the 4th but mommy needs a little break! Guess Who's Birthday is Today??

My Girl, Alli! She is officially Double digits! I will remember the first day we met like it was yesterday. I was starting labor around this time. I got the epidural at about 11 a.m. and she was born June 25, 1998 at 8:20 p.m. 12 hours later I had this beautiful little girl 8ibs and 8 ounces 3weeks early and she was 21 1/2 inches long. The most beautiful blue eyes you could ever imagine and the most beautiful red hair in this world. I miss those days of just her smiles and laughter at that age. I would never have changed my decision to have her. Look what I got in return the most beautiful 10 year old ever created by 2 individuals- who at the time were in love. Boy how life changes in 10 years but I'm exceptionally happy, proud and excited that my daughter is growing up.....it didn't take long for those 10 years to fly by and now only 8 more until she leaves the nest......I don't want her to leave the nest now I'm scared for time to go on! I so Love her!

He came over last night and helped me clean my kitchen so I wouldn't have to do it! He told me I shouldn't have to clean on my birthday!!! LOL He called me @12:00 on the dot!
